I change the oil, oil filter, and drain plug on my 2012 ford fusion. This video applies to the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 models. It is also relevant to the Mercury Milan as well. The 2.5l engine. On my 2012 model: the torque specification for the drain plug is 21 foot pounds. The engine capacity is 5.3 quarts (5.0 Liters). Ford Motorcraft engine oil is recommended. However, I used an affordable brand purchased at Walmart. I spent $15.99 on the 5 quart, $5.68 on the 1 quart, and 3.77 for the filter. So, for around $25, this is very affordable.
