Summer Motorhome Trip | 2. Northumberland - Touring Warkworth and Alnwick in our motorhome.

In this section of our 3 week Motorhome Trip we stay at the Lakes at Linden, a Campra aire, just outside Morpeth. We spend a lovely day exploring Warkworth Castle and Village, then head off to Alnwick, where Dave finds a new favourite beer and we encounter some rather lively calves (who said they wouldn't scare me!)
Someone is cheating at Backgammon (again) and then we prepare to head further North on our way to Scotland.

The usual bad hair and slightly dodgy filming, no fancy drones, just a couple of 50-something's travelling around enjoying this chapter of our lives. This is our reality of living and touring England and Scotland in our motorhome for 3 weeks.

"The Van" is a McLouis Fusion 331 (we haven't named it yet, and might not!!) and it is just the perfect size for the two of us on the road.

We are a couple of 50 somethings just starting to settle in to the next chapter of our lives together and we are very excited about all the places we can go!
We have had the van for a little over a year now, and have been documenting our travels for future recall!
We like to do our road trips over 3 or more weeks, with the occasional weekend away in between. On our travels we like to stay 3 nights 'off-grid' (or whatever you prefer to call it) and the fourth night we usually find a campsite or aire to clean up and fill up. We like a good pale ale, places with history, woodland walks and exploring many beautiful places in Britain.

We only upload a video every 2 weeks, so do subscribe to continue to join us on our travels. You can turn your notifications off in You Tube or your App settings if you don't want a ping everytime a new video is uploaded and can just catch up when you choose!
