Why Are Women Erased From Art History? | Amanpour and Company

With toxic masculinity infecting everything from politics to popular culture, one young art historian is pushing back. Katy Hessel first made a mark with her Instagram account, Great Women Artists, which celebrates women overlooked by the art world’s patriarchy. In her new book, "The Story of Art Without Men," Hessel goes into the history of women achieving artistic excellence against colossal odds. Christiane speaks with Hessel, at an exhibition she curated in London, about the role of women in the history of art.
