The Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo, commonly known as Calgary Expo, is one of Canada’s largest pop culture conventions, held annually at Stampede Park in Calgary, Alberta. Established in 2005, it has grown into a four-day celebration of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, gaming, and cosplay, attracting nearly 100,000 fans each year .

What to Expect
• Celebrity Guests: The Expo features appearances by stars from popular franchises. For 2025, attendees can look forward to meeting Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, John Boyega, Charlie Cox, and more .
• POW! Parade of Wonders: A free, family-friendly cosplay parade through downtown Calgary, kicking off the Expo on April 25, 2025, at 10:30 AM .
• Panels and Workshops: Engage in discussions, Q&A sessions, and workshops with artists, writers, and industry professionals.
• Artist Alley and Exhibitors: Explore a vast marketplace featuring comic creators, artists, and vendors offering collectibles, artwork, and merchandise.
• Cosplay: Whether you’re a seasoned cosplayer or a fan, the Expo is a hub for creative costumes and cosplay showcases.
• Family Activities: The event is family-friendly, with activities tailored for younger fans, including a Kids’ Cosplay Showcase.

• Thursday: 4 PM – 9 PM
• Friday: 12 PM – 8 PM
• Saturday: 10 AM – 7 PM
• Sunday: 10 AM – 5 PM
• Tickets: Available for purchase on the official website. Children aged 6–12 can attend for free with a downloadable coupon; kids under 5 do not require a pass .
