VLOG 19: 19 HOURS IN SINGAPORE | MALAYALAM VLOG

19-Hour Singapore Layover Itinerary 🇸🇬✈️ (Slow, Easy, Worth It)
We landed early morning from India with a 1:40 AM flight out—just enough time to explore without rushing. Since we have an Australian visa, we got visa-free entry into Singapore (check your eligibility before planning).

We used Grab for all travel, which cost us under 100 SGD total and made getting around super smooth.


🕖 7:00 AM – Landed & Cleared Immigration
After immigration, we picked up a local SIM card from Changi Recommends kiosk—fast, cheap, and perfect for booking Grabs and using maps all day. Highly recommend doing this right at arrival.

🎒 We then dropped off all our hand baggage at the baggage storage in Terminal 2, and kept just one light bag with our passport, wallet, and essentials. Traveling light for the day made a huge difference.

🥪 7:45 AM – Breakfast at Ya Kun Kaya Toast (Changi Airport)
Started the day with the classic kaya toast set—simple, local, and delicious.

🚗 9:00 AM – Grab to Gardens by the Bay
We visited both the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest—beautiful indoor gardens, fully air-conditioned, and perfect to stroll through.

🍜 12:00 PM – Grab to Lau Pa Sat for Lunch
Tried a mix of affordable local dishes at this historic hawker centre.

🛍️ 1:15 PM – Quick Stroll at a Mall on Orchard Road
Took a short break, grabbed cold drinks, refreshed, and recharged.

🏙️ 2:15 PM – Grab to Marina Bay Sands (SkyPark)
Planned to go up to the Observation Deck but tickets were sold out—book ahead next time.

☕ 2:45 PM – Starbucks Break near Merlion Park
Sat down with iced drinks before heading to the waterfront.

🦁 3:15 PM – Merlion Park Visit
Took in the views and snapped the must-have Merlion photo.

🚕 4:00 PM – Grab back to Changi Airport
Returned early to unwind and enjoy the airport experience.

💧 4:30 PM – Explored Jewel Changi
Watched the Rain Vortex, walked through the indoor forest, browsed a little.

🛋️ 6:00 PM – Lounge Access with ICICI Card
Used our ICICI card for free airport lounge access—clean showers, great food, drinks, Wi-Fi, and proper downtime before the flight.

🛂 10:30 PM – Cleared Security & Immigration
Plenty of buffer before our 1:40 AM flight.
