In the folds of the vast universe, humanity is but a speck of dust, carried along by the tempestuous winds of fate, stumbling through life in confusion and helplessness. As it is written in Psalm 103:14, "For he knows how we are formed; he remembers that we are dust." Every sleepless night, each moment when we are bruised and battered by reality, confirms our insignificance and vulnerability. The tempests of life can easily overwhelm us, snuffing out the spark of hope in the darkness of despair, just as Job 7:17 - 18 states, "What is man that you make so much of him, that you set your heart on him, visit him every morning and test him every moment?"

However, when the lion, a symbol of Jesus, comes into view, everything begins to change. Revelation 5:5 says, "Then one of the elders said to me, 'Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.'" Its gaze, as scorching as the sun, pierces through the layers of haze, illuminating the darkest recesses of our souls. Its roar, as powerful as thunder, shatters the fear and timidity within us. This is not an ordinary force; it is the divine calling that comes from "fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith," as described in Hebrews 12:2, a light of awakening bestowed by faith.

Under its watchful eyes, we are no longer the defenseless weaklings at the mercy of circumstances. The dormant power within us is awakened, surging forth like molten lava breaking through the earth's crust, searing hot and unstoppable. This trust guides us to find our way in the darkness and grants us the courage to face adversity, just as Isaiah 41:10 promises, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We begin to believe that even the most insignificant beings, when connected to the eternal, can shine brightly.

As the flames of faith burn fiercely in our hearts, we no longer fear the unknown or yield to fate. With this blazing awakening, we stride bravely into the future, writing our own magnificent chapters with our lives. For we know that, under the protection of faith, even the most humble of us can possess the power to move mountains, as Philippians 4:13 declares, "I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
