Making a Sphere (aka a Ball!)

Hi

This is my first attempt at trying to make a small sphere - about 3 inches in diameter.
I don't have any special tools for making a sphere, so I decided to make my own accessories to hold the sphere between centres.
The method I used produced a very good spherical shape.
When cutting the bead, the centre alignment must have been out by about 1mm which resulted in a flat spot on part of the bead - so not perfect.
I finished the sphere by applying colour (spirit stain) and applying four coats of Danish oil.

I hope you find this video interesting. I always like to try new things out if possible.
