We had the opportunity to speak with Fuad Abu Bakr, leader of the New National Vision (NNV) party, at UNC headquarters. In the 2025 general elections, he contested the Port of Spain South seat as his party’s sole candidate. Notably, Abu Bakr publicly endorsed the United National Congress (UNC), describing it as the “best hope for poor and disenfranchised citizens” .
