M62TU now with Valvoline semi synthetic 20w 50.
I changed the oil on the 18th of October and drove 400km and have noticed a huge change in the smoothness of the motor and the two big points are at cold start no timing chain rattles and the Vanos rattle is half of what it was. I spoke to three different BMW specialists and they all use 20w 50 here in Queensland. Two of the BMW Indys use Valvoline 20w 50 semi synthetic for there oil changes in the V8 E39 with the M62 and the M62TU motor.
