A Decent Traxxas Slash Alternative? Arrma Senton 3S BLX!

Why the Arrma Senton 3S BLX? I have a 1/10 course with a little jump and a friend with a Traxxas Slash. I want a vehicle to drive with him but I've done the Traxxas thing before - I don't need another box of RPM bits to keep it alive! With a little experience with Arrma already, I decided on the Senton.

With an uncharacteristically low level of research, the vehicle has arrived and it's time to test! Will it live up to my expectations of being a reasonable option instead of the Slash? Should I have read something about it first or even watched a single YouTube video before buying it? Well, probably. But, I didn't. I know nearly nothing about this thing! Time to fix that!

UPDATE: I had a breakage! Wasn't due to manufacturing or materials defect, but a design flaw that resulted in damage under normal running conditions.
