How did you learn about the Sufis?

When I first saw groups practicing in Taiwan, curiosity sparked in me.
It wasn’t until I reached Turkey—the birthplace of Sufi whirling—that I felt its magic more profoundly.

Dizziness leads to dissolution, unraveling the consciousness and will that cling to understanding.
It is the gateway to trance, where boundaries between myself and all things blur.
We are no longer individuals but a collective,
Or an interdependent world.

We join the circles of life—from birth to death,
From meeting to parting, and meeting again.

We break free from every straight line until we dance together in the same circle once more.
And so, we are free.
Freedom means you can be a Christian and whirl, A Buddhist and whirl, Or nothing at all—and still whirl.
It is a moving meditation, a journey inward.

Spinning, like the wind, sets everything stagnant into motion once again.

甚麼是蘇菲旋轉？
我們為何要旋轉？
旋轉不會暈嗎？
旋轉能帶來甚麼？
你怎麼知道蘇菲的？

當我第一次在台灣看到有一些團體在練習的時候，我就感到好奇。 直到我來到土耳其， 蘇菲旋轉的起緣地，我才更深入地感覺到這整件事的魔力。

暈眩，帶來瓦解，瓦解意識和意志中所持守的認知和理解。 暈眩是去向恍惚的起點，讓我與萬物逐漸模糊掉邊界。

我們不再是一個個體，而是整個群體，
或是一整個相依的世界。

我們加入生命中的圓，從出生到死亡的圓；
從相識到道別再相識的圓。

我們掙脫掉每一條直線，直到再次共舞在同一個圈。 於是自由了。 自由意味著，你可以是基督徒，也練習旋轉，你可以是佛教徒，也感覺旋轉，你可以甚麼都不是，但仍然旋轉。 這是一種動禪，是一種內觀。

旋轉，如風一般讓阻滯的一切再次旋轉。
