This video shows how to find out what is at fault with TTS not working by a process of elimination using other locomotives to help find what the fault is. In this video I run through all the different variables you may come across and how to nail down where the the fault is. Once I discovered that in my view a problem with the locos internal wiring from the tender back is the issue, I decided to send the model back to Hornby. It took about an hour in total to find out that in my view the TTS chip while cutting out, it is not the problem. I wonder how many people have sent TTS chips back with nothing wrong with them ?.
