Driving from the city of Zurich into the Zurich Highlands (Zürcher Oberland) to Wetzikon in the hilly south-eastern part of the canton of Zurich. Enjoy a springtime road trip through the lively city and the blossoming countryside.

Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland with more than 400'000 inhabitants. The city is located at the northwestern tip of Lake Zurich. Zurich is a hub for railways, roads and air traffic. The airport and the main railway station are the largest and busiest in the country. Zurich is also one of the largest financial centres in the world and home to many financial institutions and banking companies. The old town (Altstadt) is called District 1 (Kreis 1) and includes the historical part of the city.

The tour ends in Wetzikon, a small town in the Zurich Highlands (Zürcher Oberland). Wetzikon has around 25,000 inhabitants.
