Sunday Longplay - Blaster Master Zero 2 (Switch) - EX Character: Empress (Dragon Marked For Death)

This week on Sunday Longplay, the second piece of DLC for Blaster Master Zero 2 just dropped last week. In honor of her game of origin's newest major update which also dropped last week, our new special guest in the Blaster Master universe is the Dragonblood Empress from Dragon Marked For Death!

Having just recently finished her game of origin (I still need to go back and play the new update with the Oracle and the Bandit by the way!), the Empress's playstyle felt really natural to me, playing just like she does in Dragon Marked For Death. Thanks to this familiarity with her mechanics, I was able to finish the game in a new personal record time!

Like Copen before her, the Empress doesn't have any special story dialogue, but has her own unique power-ups. You can also skip the other MA pilots' sidequests, and you can even skip the seed-planting quest on planet Stranga.
