My Phantom is still working perfectly after this repair ;)

When I said that the chip seemed to burn out after the firmware update, I was really using that more as a reference to when it happened for me, I am in no way claiming that the update caused the problem. I should have said that differently.

Phantom 3 Standard range issue fix after 1.9.2 firmware update,
This video is a tutorial on fixing the P3S range issue, where the range is only about 300ft. before being disconnected and triggering the smart RTH.

After this Repair the range of my Phantom 3 Standard is just as good as it ever was, I have been able to get 3,800ft. in a medium interference area which is better then the P3S spec range.
