The ARANOA (IMO 9878759) is scheduled to sail in the South Pacific for Compagnie Polynésienne de Transport Maritime (CPTM) / Aranui Cruises starting in 2027. The cruise area will be the untouched Austral Islands. They are a relatively undiscovered archipelago consisting of seven islands, five of which are inhabited: Rimatara, Rurutu, Tubuai, Raivavae, and Rapa. A total of only 6,800 people live there in a relatively untouched natural environment.
The ARANOA, which is being built in China and is scheduled to enter service in 2027, will accommodate 198 passengers in 93 cabins, 62 of which have balconies. Two restaurants, bars, a spa, a fitness room, and a tattoo studio are among the onboard amenities. Above are some impressions of what it will look like on board.
