This is my newly invented poncho design that is 8’x8’ square instead of 5’x7’ like traditional military ponchos, thats almost twice the rain coverage when its used as a shelter! This new design also is square so it doesn’t require 2 trees to tie it between like military ponchos, this poncho’s corner can be tied up to just one tree in a diamond/diagonal fashion! Additionally, my new poncho design can actually be pitched as a legitimate A-frame tent that you can sit up straight in and it covers your entire body length which is also not possible with the traditional military poncho!
