Clinical Features:
A young married female patient came with
Amenorrhoea for 2+ months.
Pervaginal bleeding.
Severe lower abdominal pain.
H/o taking abortifacient drugs.
Ultrasound Features:
Irregular mixed echogenic substances are noted within the uterine cavity.
No fetal pole or yolk sac.
Remember:
In confusing cases, color Doppler may help see flow towards the trophoblastic tissue, thus confirming retained products of conception.
