Hospital exploration - The Old Farm Colony

I had first heard about the lovely and haunting property in Staten Island through the documentary "Cropsey" (2009). The film itself is a great watch and very thought-provoking... but the glimpses of the property involved, the personal familiar ties to the area, and my love for this sub-world to begin with, all combined to make seeing this place a must.

I had been there before (and had taken plenty of pictures), but decided to try to capture some quality footage of the many structures' interiors and decay when I had revisited with the gang, mostly recently this winter.

Our greater reasons and intentions to visit (and the reason weather has been such an issue regarding delays...) might be obvious to some viewers, but as I hope you can tell in the video (and as I shared in a previous vlog), just visiting these abandoned places to begin with is such an adventure for us, and almost a religious experience to me, personally.

Welcome to the New York City Farm Colony, where all the halls and hollows are haunted.
