Who doesn't love Costco? Is there a store in existence right now that's more beloved than Costco? But will this last forever? In this video I discuss my theory on why Costco could one day fall from its throne. I like and shop at Costco just as much as the next person, but I have noticed some things that could one day bloom into issues for the dominant company if they aren't addressed. Carrageenan correction: In the video I mention that "ingredients like carrageenan...could be certified organic." Carrageenan itself CANNOT be certified organic. However, carrageenan can be an ingredient in a product that is certified organic. For example, if you look at the ingredients list of many organic ice creams, you'll see carrageenan as an ingredient, as it's commonly used as a thickener in ice cream.
