During the past centuries there has been a movement towards rationality; to put numbers, and to quantify everything, And through this time we have been separated a bit from nature. From a rational point of view, it would not make sense to have these vines growing in rocks, putting the roots down deep, but it’s happening. And actually, these ancient vines in this hard place are giving us wines that have a finesse and an elegance that is incredible.
Here nature is in the centre and is the one that talks; we are just spectators. It’s something that cannot be measured, it's not rational. It just happens and it’s nature, it’s pure nature. So this is what makes it special." Miguel Torres Maczassek (5th generation).
