【4K】昭和の遺産！太宰治ゆかりの三鷹跨線人道橋を散歩 (May 2023) | Crossing the overpass bridge, built about 100 years ago.

1929年に建設された三鷹の跨線橋は、老朽化のため安全面に問題があることから解体・撤去が決まっています。
無くなる前に見ておこうということで今回は三鷹駅からほど近い三鷹跨線人道橋を歩いてみました。

建設当時は鉄鋼が不足していたため、明治大正期の古レールが再利用されたこの橋はかの文豪太宰治もお気に入りの場所だったようです。
橋の上からは中央線だけでなく車両センターの留置線で東西線などの各種車両も見物できるため、鉄道ファンが集まる「撮り鉄」スポットとなっているようです。
興味のある方は無くなってしまう前に行ってはいかがでしょうか。

The Mitaka Crossing Railway Bridge, built in 1929, is scheduled to be dismantled and removed due to safety issues caused by its aging.
In order to take a look at it before it disappears, we walked along the Mitaka Straddle Railroad Bridge, which is not far from Mitaka Station.

The bridge, which reused old rails from the Meiji and Taisho periods because of the shortage of steel at the time of construction, was a favorite place of Osamu Dazai, a famous writer and writer.
From the bridge, visitors can see not only the Chuo Line, but also various trains of the Tozai Line and other lines at the railcar center's detention line, making it a popular spot for railroad fans to "shoot" trains.
