Ello Bandannas. In this video, we’re talking about the ongoing phenomenon of successful Black queer people and their very consistent love for white partners. From James Baldwin to Jerrod Carmichael, from ballroom scenes to dates with republican cops, we unpack the historical, emotional, and psychological layers of why whiteness keeps showing up in our love stories… and not always in a cute way.

This video dives into desirability politics, internalized anti-Blackness, the role of trauma, queer narratives in media, and why some of y’all would rather date a MAGA cop than heal.
