Oxford Street is one of the most famous shopping streets in London and Europe, located in the heart of the West End. Stretching about 1.2 miles (1.9 kilometres) from Marble Arch to Tottenham Court Road, it's home to over 300 shops, including flagship stores for major British and international brands like Selfridges, Zara, and H&M. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, iconic Christmas lights, and historic department stores, Oxford Street is a bustling hub for fashion, retail, and tourism. During the Easter break, the streets looked more calm and less busy due to school holidays. It's easily accessible by public transport, especially via Oxford Circus and Bond Street tube stations. Ideally you could use the new Elizabeth Line which is more convenient. Just parallel to Oxford Street are Brown Hart Gardens, a history of its own related to Grosvenor Mayfair. Check out this peaceful garden made on top of an old electricity station. Fascinating ☺️
