While Saddam Hussein epitomized authoritarian rule, his two sons, Uday and Qusay Hussein, were infamous extensions of his brutal regime, groomed as heirs to his legacy of fear and control. Known for their cruelty, corruption, and unrestrained power, the two brothers left behind a trail of terror that solidified their positions as some of the most feared figures in Iraq during their father’s reign. The reign of Uday and Qusay came to an abrupt and bloody end on July 22, 2003, following the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.
