Melissa Etheridge would have loved to 'discover' her, she said so 'on record'... 😉 Well, she was too late for that, but at least @jaxhollow was able to open for one of her shows. That was a big moment for her.
And indeed, Jax has a lot of things that sound a bit like Melissa Etheridge, but also like Sheryl Crow – but she's much more 'herself'! Which at least outlines her musical direction.
Today, she and her band kicked off their 2025 European tour in Unna, at the Lindenbrauerei cultural center. A nice, informal evening, with little chats with the audience during the song breaks, 'up close', so to speak.
And now it demands 'more' - but we still have a chance for that for quite some time. Go for it!
