1946 Ford Pickup "Lil' Henry" - Concours Show Winning Restoration

Starting out as a Minnesota barn find, this little '46 Ford is now a proven show winner. It has been restored to factory condition in every detail and has scored as high as 990 out of 1,000 points in concours judging. When Wayne and Marilyn Blackmon purchased "Lil Henry" in 2012, he had already been nicely restored, but still needed a few issues addressed. The truck was taken to Manns Restoration in Festus, MO, where it was painstakingly returned to factory condition. Since completion of the second restoration in the Spring of 2014, the truck has garnered numerous prestigious awards. It received Blue Ribbons at the 2014 Sante Fe Concourso, and the 2015 Kenneland Concours d'Elegance, as well as the coveted Dearborn Award in June of 2015. Lil' Henry is still powered by the original 239 Flathead V8, putting out a factory rated 100 HP. The power is sent rearward by a 3 spd manual transmission. Now that "Lil' Henry" has been given a second chance, let's hope he makes it another 70+ years.
