"I thought things would be different!" (Black Cindy Edit)

"I thought things would be different! That if I try hard enough, maybe I could fix what I messed up! But it doesn't matter what I do or how bad I want to change! All I ever end up doing is making things worse!"

I'm back with another edit, but this time, an Orange Is the New Black edit. And it's a sad edit. I heard this music from a Prince of Egypt edit and I thought I could use that for this edit.

I think what Cindy said to her mom didn't only relate to her daughter, but it also related to Taystee. Cindy did try to retract from her original statement and her interrogation from the riot investigators, but it was too late. So she lied to save herself. And she did try to apologize for what she did, but Taystee wouldn't forgive her and their friendship was finished. When Taystee saw Cindy was getting released early, she decided to get revenge by writing to Monica and telling her who her real mother was. But that letter would come to bite her back, as her revenge made Cindy run away, become homeless, and Taystee's lawyer unable to find her. Her revenge ruined her chance of getting a retrial.
