Bhagavad-gītā 1.15
पाञ्चजन्यं हृषीकेशो देवदत्तं धनञ्जयः ।
पौण्ड्रं दध्मौ महाशङ्खं भीमकर्मा वृकोदरः ॥ १.१५॥
Translation:
Hrishikesha (Lord Kṛṣṇa) blew His conchshell called Pāñcajanya, and Dhananjaya (Arjuna) blew his Devadatta. Bhīmakarma (Bhīma) blew his mighty conchshell called Paundra, which roared like a lion. (1.15)
🌸 In this lecture, Śrīla Prabhupāda, Founder-Ācārya of ISKCON, explains how the sounding of these conchshells by Lord Kṛṣṇa, Arjuna, and Bhīma was not only a call to battle but also a spiritual signal. Each conch had its unique significance and represented divine power, courage, and the protection of dharma.
✨ Śrīla Prabhupāda emphasizes that the transcendental sound of Kṛṣṇa’s conch, Pāñcajanya, purifies the mind and awakens the hearts of devotees, demonstrating that real strength comes from the Lord.
