Anna Kuzina was born in Simferopo, in Ukraine. She began to compose music when she was 5 years old. In 1998 she graduated from Music School in Piano and in the same year she joined the Theoretical Department of the Simferopol Musical College named after P.I. Tchaikovsky. After graduating it, she entered the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P.I. Tchaikovsky in the Faculty of Composition (class of teacher Yevhen Stankovych). In 2006 she got Master's Degree and entered the assistantship and then the post-graduate school of Academy. She graduated from it in 2010. Since March 2011 Anna Kuzina is a Member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine.
Anna Kuzina is a scholarship holder of the President of Ukraine (2002-2006, 2008-2009), she won the international piano competitions and composers' competition in Ukraine (2001), France (2002, 2003) and Italy (2004), and she is a member of the international festivals "Youth Music Forum", "Kiev (Kyiv) Music Fest" and "Musical premiere of the season".
Her works have been performed in the Lysenko Collonaded Hall of the National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine, and other stages :
Her works for chorus have been performed by the chamber choir "Credo", conductor : Bogdan Plish. And the chamber choir "Taurida Blagovest", conductor : Vladimir Nikolenko.
Her « Concerto for Piano and Orchestra » (2006) has been performed in 2006 by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, conductor : People's Artist of Ukraine Viktor Zdorenko. In 2008 the second performance of this work by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, conductor : People's Artist of Ukraine Vladimir Sirenko ; piano part : the composer).
Her « Slavic Overture », for wind orchestra (2004), has been performed by the State Academic Wind Orchestra of Ukraine, conductor : Alexey Roshchak.
Her « Chamber Symphony-Concerto for Viola and Orchestra » (2009) has been performed by the National ensemble of Soloists "Kyiv Camerata", conductor : People's Artist of Ukraine Valeriy Matyukhin ; soloist : Andrey Tuchapets. The second version of this composition, for Grand Symphony Orchestra, has been performed in 2012 by the Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra, conductor : Vladimir Sheiko.
Her vocal pieces have been performed by Taras Shtonda, the People's Artist of Ukraine, soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine and the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, by the People's Artist of Ukraine Elena Basarhyna, soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine by the name of T. Shevchenko, and by Sergey Kovnir, Denis Vishnya, Ludmila Bakhareva... And her piano works have been performed by the author, as well as other compositions.
