Today we present an exciting project: QUOTE (Quality Operational Tomography Evaluation). As part of this project, together with our partners @ohbse and @VolumeGraphicsbyHexagon , we demonstrated the possibilities of non-destructive component testing for the aerospace industry.
The aim of the project was to use non-destructive component testing and data processing to answer quality-related questions. A 100% quality control is absolutely necessary, especially for components that are used in space. Here, non-destructive testing offers a valuable method for qualifying components and mechanisms, carrying out aging analyses, assessing risk or optimizing processes. The concept of CT non-destructive testing was demonstrated using a mechanism for the European Space Agency (ESA) ExoMars mission.
