This was supposed to be just a normal camper day in Italy.
A calm morning.
A proper camper pre-flight check.
Doors, hatches, lockers — everything closed and ready to go.
Then a quick stop at a gas station for an Italian cappuccino, a walk through the shop, and a few small local finds for pasta and dinner later.
After that, we hit the road heading toward Lake Como, hoping to rent a boat the same day.
But camper travel never goes exactly as planned.
Closed roads, tight turns, confusing parking, and at one moment — getting way too close to damaging the camper roof.
One of those moments you only fully realize after it’s already behind you.
The day ends quietly in Colico with pizza, ice cream, and the most glamorous part of camper life —
servicing the camper: water, waste tanks, and yes… the toilet.
Nothing extreme.
Nothing staged.
Just real camper life as it is.
