This video as pretty much all of my videos is a product that I have purchased myself or received as a birthday or Christmas present and in no way were sponsored and sent to me.

This video is a bit of a labor of love for me as I have been a dedicated yearly upgrader of Android devices for the past 10 or more years all the way back to the HTC Dream and HTC Magic. This is the FIRST year I make the switch to iOS in search for something more.... boring?

With costs of devices doing nothing but skyrocketing and with me being a moron who can't help but be an early adopter of the latest greatest cell phones I feel like the iPhone might JUST be the only device that can quell my constant need to change, because it always feels... the same? But not in a bad way!

I wanted to share with you the first week of my decade long transition into an iOS phone and my struggles and little tips that I found that eased the transition a bit.

For all you iOS die hards that know everything there is to know, I am SURE this video will do nothing but enrage you as it's embarassing my lack of knowledge in this realm but HEY, at least I'm trying!

At the end of the day as I get older I realize I use my phone for less and less and honestly I find a lot of people are trying to do that. With notifications being a little harder to track and the always on display not being a thing, it honestly has simplified things a bit.

To be real the process has been difficult as the Move to iOS app is COMPLETE GARBAGE. That app is a dumpster fire and a pathetic offering to be honest from a trillion $ company, do better Apple.

The device itself feels great and stacks up well if not a bit heavy compared to my Note 10 +, but that is what it is and there were smaller options I could have opted for, so no issue there.

In the past I have used everything from HTC, Nexus, Huawei, Samsung, OnePlus and who knows what else and it has been a trial to switch and I am slowly but surely learning my way through it as I go.

It has always been an age old debate and I will see if I can pull off this transition to iphone so I stop with this overly aggressive phone swapping every year as it is simply getting too costly.
