Palo‑Alto is a barangay in the city of Calamba, in the province of Laguna. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 18,874. This represented 3.50% of the total population of Calamba.

The population of Palo-Alto grew from 1,913 in 1990 to 18,874 in 2020, an increase of 16,961 people over the course of 30 years. The latest census figures in 2020 denote a positive growth rate of 4.65%, or an increase of 3,666 people, from the previous population of 15,208 in 2015.
