Life in Kharkiv is a dichotomy of everything seeming normal at times, while dangerous and chaotic at others. In the past 3 months Russia has been bombing Kharkiv on an almost daily basis, and has committed over 10,000 troops to the region. Yet between the hours of 8am-11pm life here seems normal, families go to the zoo, friends go to dinner, and the nightlife seems like they are partying like it's their last night on Earth, which sadly, for some of them, are too often a reality.
