This is a clip from "The Sylvan Brothers Comedy Hour," a show that aired on Cable Access Public TV in Nashville circa 1987-1988. It parodied many aspects of life in Nashville during the time, with one of their favorite targets being Ralph Emery, a Nashville TV personality who not only had a show on The Nashville Network, but also a local broadcast early-morning show called "The Ralph Emery Show." In this skit, Sylvan Brothers stars Shane Caldwell and Howard Fox skewer country-western comedian Jerry Clower (who passed in 1998, RIP) and Ralph Emery, respectively.
Warning: While there isn't any language that is offense per se in this video, what is being implied is not recommended listening for younger viewers. Also, this clip is a lot funnier if you're at least somewhat familiar with Jerry Clower's schtick. Just watching one of of his commercials should do the trick...here's one for catfish bait.
