(RB4) Through the Fire and Flames PERFORMANCE MODE Expert Drums 100% FC!

Wow, what a crazy FC. I was so surprised when I got this; it was my first time reaching the guitar solo. No lane chokes at all. For those who don't know what "Performance Mode" is, it's a feature in Rock Band 3 that basically turns off the chart, so you have to memorize what you're playing instead. It's kinda of like "Brutal Mode" in Rock Band 4, except you don't see the notes AT ALL, not just for a little bit.

Since Rock Band 4 doesn't actually have Performance Mode, I simulated it myself by turning off the TV screen. This was SO DIFFICULT to learn. Here's the thing: on brutal mode I FCed in one try. You don't have to actually remember any of the very minor changes in the chart. On brutal mode, you can watch for the changes and FC the song. And since the engine is a lot looser in Rock Band 4 than Rock Band 3, there really isn't much to the chart as long as you have the stamina to play it. But on performance mode, it's a whole different deal.

I made a Google Sheet to actually help me learn this, because I felt it was necessary. Note that this link doesn't actually tell everything about the song - I only took note of the easy parts to remember. Also note that I didn't use pro drums (with cymbals) because it simply would have been too much for me haha. Maybe another day. I did FC brutal on pro on my first run ever though, I think Kyle did it in one or two tries as well.
