On this warm and humid day,  I headed up to Peekskill on Metro North to enjoy heavy diesel action and horns at one of the few locations with a grade crossing on the Hudson Line. The horns didn’t disappoint and neither did the locomotives. I saw 5 different Metro North Heritage locomotives plus 4 different Amtrak locomotives in special paint schemes. The majority of trains that I saw on this day had some kind of specially painted locomotive on it. Peekskill is a picturesque city along the Hudson River and fantastic views of trains can be seen here.
