Les Paul Broken Neck Repair EP1

Welcome to the Next Project!

We are starting repair work on a new-ish Epiphone Les Paul.
This guitar has a complete headstock break, snapped clean off, hmm.
It suffered the break while in shipping, under string tension, and there was no damage to the shipping box, again, hmm.

We will be completely removing and making a new hardwood neck, bringing this guitar back from the - dead.

We've got a great start on this repair. Removed components to keep them safe, pulled frets, removed the fingerboard, lopped off dead limbs and cleaned up a connection point, and have a good start on new neck timber.
I can almost hear it now, or maybe it's the tinnitus I'm hearing.
