I finally got to test the blaster in a Nerf War, but my thoughts are mixed.
The Piston Pump is really consistent when used with fresh darts (second match). I only had a couple jams/misfeeds that were easy to clear (but happened at bad times). With used club darts/squishy foam, however, the problems multiplied. Misfeeds, darts just popping out a few feet, and many other issues. Thus my first round issues.
If you can use fresh darts consistently, the blaster it great...but I'm not sure it'll replace flywheelers when it comes to being able to power through darts of varying conditions.
