This video shows the repair process for a Cambridge Audio CD Player D300. The screen was not showing any image for power or track information. I then replace the filament bulbs that back lit the screen repairing the device.
Bulbs I used were purchased from eBay called: 20Pcs Miniature 4mm 12V-Lamp Light Bulb Incandescent Filament T4 Halogen Bulb.
You will require three that fit into the board behind the screen to replace them all.
This made the screen light up and I was able to then monitor the functions.
