The escape of two notorious prisoners from Choudwar Jail has intensified the controversy between the jail superintendent and the former jailer. Jail Superintendent Sujit Raula has lodged a counter complaint against former jailer Santosini Dash at Choudwar Police Station, alleging that she abused and threatened him. This comes a day after Santosini Dash filed an FIR against Sujit Raula, accusing him of forgery and misuse of official position. In her complaint, she alleged that Sujit had tampered with his service records in connection with the prisoners’ escape and even made serious allegations of his involvement in the jailbreak. The incident has now taken a dramatic turn with counter allegations from both sides.
