Located in the Kavrepalanchok district, it's the highest peak in the Mahabharat range, soaring to an altitude of around 3000 meters. Bethanchowk offers breathtaking, unparalleled 360-degree panoramic views of the Himalayan giants, including Mt. Everest on a clear day, as well as stunning vistas of the surrounding valleys and hills. At its summit lies the sacred Narayanthan temple, a place of serene spiritual significance, drawing pilgrims and nature lovers alike. It's a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and tranquility.

Join us, three old friends, as we relive our recent adrenaline-pumping and soul-refreshing tour to Bethanchowk Narayanthan!

Our adventure kicked off bright and early at 7 AM from Chabahil, Kathmandu. We first navigated our motorcycles through the scenic Nala road, making our way towards Panauti. From there, the real excitement began as we hit the incredible offroad trails leading us towards the base of Bethanchowk. It was a fantastic, challenging, and truly rewarding offroad riding experience!

Upon reaching Deurali, we parked our trusty steeds. With no secure place to leave our valuable riding gear, we made the somewhat crazy decision to hike up to the Narayanthan temple in our full motorcycle attire – jackets, pants, boots, and even carrying our helmets! It was definitely a unique and sweaty challenge, but the views and the sense of accomplishment at the top made every step worth it.

After soaking in the spiritual vibes at the temple and feasting our eyes on the awe-inspiring landscapes, we trekked back down to our bikes. The journey home was just as memorable, and we finally rolled back into Kathmandu around 8 PM, tired but absolutely exhilarated from a day packed with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable scenery.
