John, our legendary fundraiser and volunteer has done it again! Yesterday, he and his fellow fundraisers took to the skies for a sponsored wing walk.
The stunt had been due to take place on John’s 89th birthday in April but was postponed because of the pandemic, while he was shielding.
From zipwires to skydives and abseils, the belated birthday celebrations are the latest in a long list of fundraising activities John has undertaken during the 20 years he has dedicated to raising money for Bristol Children's Hospital.
Our charity skydives and wing walks are the first in-person fundraising events we’ve been able to host since lockdown, so we’re incredibly grateful to all our fundraisers who took to the skies at the weekend.
