Length and Scope:

The project involves constructing a 66.74-kilometer, four-lane expressway with seven interchanges along the route. 

Key Interchanges:

The interchanges are planned for locations including Sto. Tomas (Batangas), Makban and San Pablo (Laguna), and Tiaong, Candelaria, Sariaya, and Lucena City (Quezon). 

Travel Time Reduction:

Once completed, the SLEX TR4 is expected to drastically reduce travel time between Sto. Tomas and Lucena City, from the current four hours to approximately one hour. 

Economic Impact:

By improving connectivity, SLEX TR4 is anticipated to boost tourism, attract investments, and foster economic growth in the Southern Tagalog region. 

Progress:

Construction is ongoing, with the Makban to Tiaong section already partially passable, and the entire project is expected to be completed in the coming years.
