back in march 2020, i felt like there were Things Happening that i would want to remember, but the news cycle was moving too fast for me to try to keep up or journal it like i was used to. covid-19 was COMING honey, and i knew it was something important for our world.
enter: a once a week delivery of the new york times
i started cutting out things that were interesting, newsworthy, beautiful, or important, and before i knew it, a new weekly rhythm was born! the pandemic truly did give some silver linings, and this project was one of them.
years later, i look back at the #radcollagesnyt project SO fondly and am so grateful for how this little project connected me to dozens of incredible people, opened doors i didn't know were possible, and built my tiktok platform to what it is today.
SUCH A GIFT.
cannot believe it's been FIVE WHOLE YEARS.
