beating 1 Elden Ring boss a day until I beat them all (Day 73)

thirty-fifth death. The deathless streak may be at zero... but the death streak is at three. I did expect this, though. As much as I think the Radahn fight is really good, I am incredibly and infamously terrible at it. No matter how powerful Chopped Nose has become, I kinda expected to get smoked by this guy. With that said, I still refuse to use summons here. I didn't use them in my first playthrough to save my fragile ego (that cost me three whole days of my life attempting this boss) and I'm not using them here because - let's be real - we're already more than strong enough than this fight. Chopped Nose does not need any help to tear Radahn to shreds. That first attempt was pretty sad, though. I almost had him. I'm just bad. However, that second attempt was something else. Smoked his entire first phase without getting hit due to pure lucky cocky charged heavies, and then almost died in phase two because I got inconfident dodging the corkscrew charge at one-tap and spam-healed in his face. With all of that said... Radahn is done! The commenters will be happy, and our world is changed forever. Things will begin to twist and turn going forward, as we now have Ranni's quest, Fia's quest, and Altus available to us, not even thinking about Mt. Gelmir or that stupid Tree Spirit in the Stranded Graveyard. As we come up to the end of my planning, I have a lot of decisions to make. Of course, before that, we have Misbegotten Warrior & Crucible Knight to kill tomorrow... because they exist. Yeah. Not done with Caelid just yet...

Despite Radahn being a pretty big point in the story, this is, by far, the closest I've got to forgetting to record. I was sat in bed, ready to snooze, when one of my friends sent something on our Discord server. I sat there, wondering to myself, "what's the last thing I sent here?" I then saw yesterday's Elden Ring boss upload... and realised I haven't uploaded today. I crawled out of my bed, turned on my lights, booted up my PC, and fought for my life against Radahn. I should really be sleeping right now, as I've got school tomorrow, but I'd - as sad as it is - rather be ever-so-slightly out of it tomorrow than break the streak. This weekend hasn't been a good one for good upload times, has it? First 4am, and now this. In my defence, today, I was a busy guy. Woke up, did a driving lesson (which was a test route, by the way), got home and held a Mother's Day party with my family, which included the brownies that I made with my dad last night. I was supposed to mention those in yesterday's description, but I kinda forgot. You gotta forgive me. I wrote that description at 4am. Speaking of the whole 4am thing, I realised today that I was only able to stay up so late because the clocks went forward. I remember having an absolute shock of my life last night when I saw it was 2am. I fully thought I just locked the fuck into playing The First Berserker: Khazan for two hours, but nope, the clocks went forward. At least I might get sunset gym walks soon.
