We visited the South Simcoe Railway at Tottenham, Ontario
There is aerial footage and the occasional ground take at level crossings and stations.
Much of the footage consists of views from the front of the nose of the SSR’s GE 70 tonner number 703.
I hope that you enjoy this day out ride as much as we did.
If you have not seen this operation first-hand, I feel it is well worth the trip.

RPAS Operations
The safety of the personnel/equipment of railroads, of aircraft and of bystanders is the highest priority of FFV and its RPAS pilots.
FFV and its licensed RPAS pilots adhere to Transport Canada’s regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, regulations regarding horizontal minimum bystander distance, minimum airport/heliport distance, controlled airspace, maximum height envelope, VLOS and drone proximity.
