Kamano Kafe Tokples 25th Jubilee Camp Meeting Celebrated at Bautama, NCD
“Creating Little Heaven on Earth”.

Warm Christmas greetings and a Merry Christmas to all Papua New Guineans.

The Kamano Kafe Tokples successfully hosted their 25th Jubilee Camp Meeting at Bautama Campsite, National Capital District, marking the first time in the Association’s history that the celebration was held outside Eastern Highlands Province.

More than 3,000 worshippers and speakers gathered for the historic Guest Day and Christmas kaikai celebration. In a remarkable act of faith and unity, the Kamano Kafe Tokples collectively contributed and slaughtered four (4) cows, with an estimated total contribution of K6 million, to host the Jubilee Camp Meeting in Port Moresby.

Faith, Vision, and National Alignment

The Guest Day keynote address was delivered by Hon. Kinoka Feo, Minister for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology, who encouraged the congregation with the message that “faith can move mountains and make things happen.” He commended the Kamano Kafe Tokples for their sacrifice, discipline, and unwavering faith.

Church Leadership and Landowner Support

The Central Papua Conference President, Pastor Lonol Winnie, welcomed the Kamano Kafe Tokples to Bautama, noting that CPC landowners historically dedicated the land to God’s mission for humanity.

He emphasized that the work of the Anumzanofi Adventist Association directly aligns with the PNG Union Mission Strategic Plan, preparing citizens spiritually and socially for heaven.

Five-Year Development Roadmap Presented

During the Guest Day program, Kamano Kafe Tokples professionals and leaders presented strategic development perspectives. Notably, Eddie Megao, an engineer with the National Energy Authority, presented an overview of the Five-Year Development Roadmap (2026–2030) for the Anumzanofi Adventist Association.

Senior leader Aho Baliki highlighted the urgent need to address law and order challenges along the Highlands Highway, particularly in Kainantu and Henganofi Districts, to unlock the full economic potential of the Highlands Economic Corridor.

Government Support and Bottom-Up Planning

Representing the Eastern Highlands Provincial Government, Mr.Jeremiah Konisimo presented K10,000 in cash support from EHP Governor Hon. Simon Sia, along with an additional K1,000 personal contribution toward food supplies.
He stressed that alignment between faith-based institutions, provincial governments, national development frameworks, and the Church can truly create a “Little Heaven on Earth” when God’s place is clearly defined in governance and planning.

Mr. Philip Leo, Secretary of Department of Provincial and Local Level Government Affairs also congratulated the Kamano Kafe Tokples, highlighting that the Ward Development Plan, recently launched by the department, mirrors the same five key development pillars presented in the Anumzanofi Five-Year Roadmap.

Faith Can Do Impossible Things

In his closing address, Hon. Kinoka Feo praised the Anumzanofi Kamano Kafe Camp as a self-help, faith-driven movement achieved without government funding. He shared personal testimonies of faith in his Life how God almighty used him to bring development into transform infrastructure landscape in the organisation he was engaged in before joining Politics..

This investment will enable future Christmas and national camp meetings for Eastern Highlands and other provinces to be hosted in the National Capital District, with improved access to land, water, sanitation, and electricity.

Acknowledgements and Partnerships

As Master of Ceremony, Mr. Koren Maso, Executive Chairman of the National Rice and Grain Board, expressed appreciation to Hon. William Hagahuno for food supply support, Sister Janet, and Governor Hon. Simon Sia.

Special acknowledgment was given to Mr. Terry Koim, Managing Director of the Livestock Development Corporation, who Subsidized the four cows at a 40% subsidized rate, from K10,000 per cow to K6000 delivered processed beef to the campsite at Bautama.

Minister Roy Uzeto as the Chairman of the Camp in NCD through his leadership successful ensuring camp meeting happens with his camp steering committee in NCD.

Way Forward

Moving forward, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) will be pursued between the Livestock Development Corporation, National Rice and Grain Board, Department of Provincial and Local Level Government Affairs, and the Anumzanofi Adventist Association to support capacity building, technical assistance, and community-based development.

This partnership approach reinforces the shared commitment of Church, Government, and development institutions to improve living standards and strengthen communities in line with the Anumzanofi vision of “Creating Little Heaven on Earth” before entering real heaven.
