This is the second video in my series called "Jazz for the Rest of Us." In this series I'll be explaining musical concepts typically associated with jazz music and jazz music theory and show you how to utilize the concepts in your non-jazz music.
In this video I explain what the circle progression is and how to use it. It's not just a jazz concept, but it's definitely utilized in jazz music in ways that it isn't used in other types of music.
